A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT OF PROVIDENCE UNIVERSITY

Greetings!

Globalization has made our world smaller and smaller. For this reason, there has been a growing interdependence among nations in the world. Hence, communication has become an important link necessary to foster understanding of the different cultures, customs, traditions, and societies among nations.

Our Chinese Language Education Center (CLEC) aims at providing this link and other opportunities for students from different countries to learn Mandarin Chinese that will help them communicate across cultures through its intensive program, extra-curricular activities, and daily interactions with Chinese speakers.
