When I came to Taiwan two years ago I completely did not know Chinese language. When I came to Providence University Chinese Language Education Center, my dream of learning the language was slowly getting fulfilled. At first, it all seemed overwhelming.  However with the help of the staff, teachers and fellow students at the CLEC, I begun to make step by step progress. Being at the CLEC  for two years made me feel at home as I had an opportunity to enjoy the generosity and hospitality of the Taiwanese teachers and staff. Moreover, the teachers are very friendly, patient and hardworking. They put a lot of love and effort into their work. The course is also well-designed to allow students to strengthen skills in listening, writing, reading and speaking. The Center also has extracurricular activities to allow students to get to know Taiwanese culture and scenery. I cherish the great memories of every moment spent at the CLEC. For those wishing to learn Mandarin Chinese, I recommend that they come to Providence University.
